Walton, the country’s leading electronics, electrical and automobile products manufacturer, made more easy installments for buying Walton products to its customers.
Walton is now offering an installment facility of 30 months for all its products to its customers while the consumers could buy Walton products in maximum 25-month installment, earlier. Walton, a sister concern of RB Group of Companies, came up with the disclosure at a press conference marking the new installment facility held in the capital on Tuesday.
The Executive Director of the Walton Plaza Sales and Development Department Iva Rizwana, Additional Director of Marketing Department Kamal Hossain, First Senior Assistant Directors of Walton Plaza Sales and Development Department Shafiullah Liton and Al Mahfuz Khan and Assistant Director Obaidul Morshed were present, in the conference.
Considering the benefit of Walton customers they had increased more 5 months of installments reducing monthly repayments.
The customers are now getting these installment facilities in all Walton Plaza, across the country from October 9, excluding only mobile phone sets, the press conference, was also told.
“The aim of Walton is to provide high quality products to the customers in reasonable prices. And in a bid to fulfill its aim, Walton has taken this kind of easy installment initiatives for its customers.” the speakers in the conference, also added.
Walton authorities, however, said, the installment facilities would be applicable for those who would buy goods in minimum price of Tk 8,500. The company has its own policies in case of installment. These installment facilities would be continued in force until the next decision to make.
The authorities concerned also said, as Walton is taking a limited interest rate on the prices, besides down payment facility, providing its high-tech affluent various products along with countrywide service network, the demand for Walton products is growing rapidly in the market.
Before taking these steps, Walton has raised the number of installments taking the purchasing capacities of local consumers, especially those who belong to middle and lower income groups, into account.
Additional Director of Marketing Department of Walton Kamal Hossain said that the Bangladeshi brand has earned reputation as it now widespread in home and abroad and the brand has reached to the customer’s confidence level.

We, at that time, received an overwhelming response from the buyers. That is why the consumers are being provided more advantages of being the highest 30-month installment facility.
